Hidden Menace

Carson Barlow is a pillar in the community. He’s a successful rancher and influential city councilman with designs on higher office. But out of nowhere, a woman appears from his distant past, threatening to expose a scandal he thought was long-since forgotten. After demanding large sums of money in exchange for her silence, she turns up dead in her hotel room. All the evidence points to Carson as the murderer.

The defense team hires Private Investigator Seth Bristol to find out what really happened. And what he discovers is a masterfully designed plan to crush Barlow and ruin him in every way possible.
