Star Cross Lovers

This is a love story, as you may have gathered by the foregoing sonnet, what’s romance without poetry? You’ll learn hardships plagued our two young lovers beyond belief. Tragedy befell them in so many ways, some too horrific to describe, not here, not now. Though their torment was shocking and profound, their love was so much more, and so this story, their story, demands to be told. A warning: there is grief in the telling, it’s unavoidable given the truth of what happened. But because they loved with such joy, their story is one that will be told throughout the ages.
