Who’s a dragon shifter on thin ice with Hell? This girl, and now I have to clear my name.

I’m Chrys and I rescue souls with my reaper partner. My coworkers hate me because I’m technically a monster who eats human souls, ahem, but I’ve been working for years to prove myself to the agency. Saving people is what I do, and they can rip my pre-mission coffee from my cold, dead hands.

But then killer demons break out of Hell and of course I’m blamed. My boss tells me to stay out of it, but my blood boils when I see who he puts on the case, none other than my insufferable thunder god ex. Not only did he break my heart, but now he’s watching my every move to make sure I keep my nose out of the mission, knowing full well I’m the best dragon for the job. To find the culprits before they kill any more people, I need to join forces with the most annoying demon spawn this side of the fiery gates, even if it leads me to a secret I thought I buried years ago.
