Their quest will take them into dangers they could never have foreseen and will reveal many of the wonders of the world of Meklir, from mages to monsters to demigods. But soon they will learn that the theft of the book is only the opening move in a much bigger plot. How will the apprentices deal with the demons they must face – both internal and external – and can they learn to put aside their prejudices and work together?
