Evita is an art curator tasked with assembling a once-in-a-century exhibition at a contemporary art museum in Chicago. Her goal: gather three superstar artists whose fame will shine a light on struggling, lesser-known talent. But her search is shadowed by a sickness within. Hunger is her constant curse. Sunlight, her enemy.

Then she meets him. A shadowy figure whose feral allure, felt in his gaze and the brush of his teeth, offers a fleeting respite in the twilight. With him, the line between salvation and surrender dissolves.
