Obedience Training For Imbeciles

On a flight home from Houston, pet store owners Myrtle Humphry and Edna Ulington joke that they’ve kept their husbands in cages in the basement for thirty years. Overhearing this, Tracy Kensington hires Myrtle and Edna to kidnap and obedience train her tyrannical husband like a dog to get him out of her life once and for all. The problem: Tracy’s husband, Jared, is a police officer and a local hero.

Jared’s disappearance becomes a major news story. Between reruns of Murder, She Wrote, Myrtle and Edna collect more men who wander into their pet store, searching for Jared. Meanwhile, word about the pet store’s secret services gets out to the married women of the community. These two retired pro wrestlers must figure out a way to survive the police, the mob, and worst of all, annoying neighbors, while making sure their men are fully trained and gift-wrapped for the holidays.
