In the year 2101, most humans have given up their free will and connected their minds to an Artificial Intelligence. The only way to escape this tyranny is to live off-world, in the wild and dangerous frontier of Saturn and its moons. The only caveats to living there: the funds to fly a billion miles into space and a pledge to keep vigil against the threat of AI. Meet down on his luck ne’er-do-well, Caleb Day. Hoping to start a new life as a cop trainee in the colonies of Saturn, Caleb rediscovers that the law is not always fair and that some people are more equal than others. When he rescues a group of civilians from a brutal raid, he becomes a fugitive himself. The group must beg, borrow, and steal their way across Saturn’s moons to survive.
