In college, Paul Topasteehl personally experienced the evils of the drug known as 10910. Not only is it the most addictive substance known to man, but the effects are irreversible. Twenty years later, as a special agent for the Narcotics Enforcement Administration, Paul’s mission is to banish this scourge from society forever.

Texas cop Brad Labradine has no such vendetta. Not until a series of grisly murders leads him to a psychic named Claire, whose prophetic visions reveal a new form of 10910, one that is capable of creating a serial killer known as The Hobbler.
