The Watcher in the Night

Tobias is an Inquisitor, one of the elite detectives of the Watch Cats. He patrols the dangerous streets of a big city, where the lives of animals and humans are governed by an ancient code.

Every day, the polluted city becomes more depraved. Tobias grows tired of all he has seen, and thinks there is nothing left to shock him. But the brutal murders of three kittens show Tobias there are still fresh horrors in the night.

Investigating the deaths, he finds a link to a series of human killings, and hears rumours of rats preparing for war. What started as a murder case becomes more complex, as the crimes of humans, cats, birds, and rats merge.
