An Audience with the King

Nelia has a secret; she can see envy as green slime, evil as tar, shame as sparkling rubies. She thought her gift was meant for something special.

But then war took her husband’s kindness, famine took her grandfather, and a plague took her son. It’s as though her gift, and her life, is meaningless.

With nothing to lose, Nelia sets out to see the king. The man who claims she possesses a purpose. Let him prove it.
